Kate joined us as a writer at TopRatedForexBrokers.com right from the very start. A well-known voice in the industry, for the past ten years she’s been busy covering the financial markets on a daily basis across foreign exchange and commodities. As she witnessed the more recent rise in cryptocurrencies, Kate began to follow the subject closely and can now claim it as one of her areas of expertise. Apart from being our regular news contributor and expert market analyst, Kate has also written for various other news sites, brokers, and financial providers, including Investing.com, FX Empire, and eToro.
Kate graduated from the University of Westminster in the UK, where she read for a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and specialized in financial markets. She worked as a broadcast journalist focusing on financial matters, and was a reporter at Sky News. She has also headed content and marketing teams for various brokerage firms. Kate is also a voice-over artist and TV presenter for the likes of the BBC, the Biography Channel, and Intel. She has hosted non-forex TV shows in the UK and forex news shows online, as well as having worked as a radio journalist.
Having her hands full with two children, both under two years of age, means she doesn’t have too much time for her hobbies. But, given the opportunity, she’d choose to travel, practice yoga, and catch up on some reading over anything else. She looks forward to the day when her kids are old enough to join her in doing all three.
